In 2014, I accepted an internship with 900AM WURD which is the only African-American owned and operated radio station in the state of Pennsylvania. The station covers topics that affect the African-American community including arts, education, politics, African Diaspora, community and more.

 

As a digital marketing intern, I helped them repackage and rebrand their digital footprint. I worked on developing news stories for their blog and collaborated with the other interns to promote the new WURD Street Team.
